Hello everyone, we got back yesterday from our plein air trip! What can I say – it was great, but too short! The timing, though, was perfect: two days of wonderful weather (yesterday even a bit too wonderful – we nearly roasted 😅), and today it’s pouring rain.
What we managed to do: walk and sketch, sing by the campfire (something we had wanted to do for a long time), and just sit and watch the fire. We painted cliffs, a castle, fields, and cows. On the way back we even caught a lunar eclipse – that wasn’t on our list, but it was a nice bonus!
What we didn’t manage: visiting Dinant. It’s a beautiful city, and sketching there is definitely the plan for next time.
