Amsterdam Sint Nicolaas Church Original Painting | Julia Palette Knife

Bring the atmosphere of Amsterdam into your home with this original painting of the iconic Sint Nicolaas Church (Basilica of Saint Nicholas), one of the most recognizable landmarks in the historic center of Amsterdam.

Created by artist Julia Grechkina, this one-of-a-kind Amsterdam cityscape captures the charm of the Dutch capital through expressive palette knife painting, rich texture, and vibrant color. The distinctive architecture of Sint Nicolaas Church and the surrounding city create a beautiful sense of place — a glimpse of Amsterdam to enjoy every day.

The textured surface and expressive palette knife strokes give the painting depth and movement, making it especially striking when viewed in person. Depending on the light and viewing angle, the texture creates subtle changes in highlights and shadows throughout the day.
