The street attracts so many visitors that the local government closes it to the public on weekends to manage the crowds. Luckily, I went on a Monday!
Just look at how many people have gathered here — the street is filled with visitors, all stopping to admire the view, taking photos, and trying to capture the moment. It’s a kind of blossom madness — a celebration of spring that transforms this quiet old street into a lively, pink wonderland. You can feel the excitement in the air, as if everyone has been waiting all year just to witness this magical burst of color.
A truly fascinating place in Germany — Breite Strasse in Bonn!
This charming old street is completely overgrown with decorative cherry trees, creating a magical pink canopy when they bloom.
I traveled there just to see it, as the blossoms last only one to two weeks each year — and I was lucky enough to catch them at just the right time.

Just look at those beautiful pink branches stretching over the street, perfectly framing the historic buildings — it felt like stepping into a dream.

After a plein air session, it's a must to try the local Bonn beer - Bonnsch!
I always make a point of tasting the local brews wherever I go — especially those made right on site.
And in Germany, that's simply a must!
